The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Rick Andre

Rick_Andre_HOF

Rick was involved in the game of soccer since he could walk. Born in Portugal he played throughout his youth, and later played semi-pro before retiring at the age of 33. Living in Ludlow, he cherished watching his son have his turn to play. With his extensive soccer knowledge Rick eventually became involved in more than just playing soccer. Rick would become a coach of U-19 girls along with the St. Mary’s of Westfield Girls Soccer team, and eventually became the National Cups Commissioner of MYSA. As the President of Pioneer Valley, Andre also established the Ludlow Columbus Day Tournament before joining the Board of Directors as Mass Youth Soccer’s secretary. For Rick, the game of soccer is more of an art form than a game, he says there is a magic to the sport and he is privileged to share with his passion for the game with the children that he coaches.
