The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

Risk Management

Consistent with the priority we place on player safety, Mass Youth Soccer is continuously improving our overall risk management activities and programs. We work with all member organizations to minimize the risk associated with all aspects of running a club or town program. This includes training, education, consultations and personal visits.

Massachusetts Youth Soccer has taken an active stance regarding risk management and requires all adults with unfettered access to children to complete an adult registration and complete expanded background checks and searches. Additionally, all registered adults are required to have with them, their Mass Youth Soccer adult credential in all youth soccer environments.

The Town or Club Risk Manager has certain responsibilities that are required of them to help meet the obligations under the SafeSport Act and help with the implementation of new Policies and Procedures required by U.S. Soccer. All Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association adult members, and member organization’s adult members, will have to meet the new Risk Management requirements along with the Commonwealth of Mass CORI requirement. The above will be monitored in U.S. Soccer Connect by the Risk Manager or Town or Club Administrator prior to the adult receiving their required Mass Youth Soccer Adult Credential.

We strongly recommended that all youth soccer administrators of affiliated programs familiarize themselves with our insurance policies and the recommended policies in the following areas:
