The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.
Update - June 12, 2020: Programs must separate participants into groups/cohorts of no more than 12 participants, including coaches and staff. (Click here for Massachusetts Executive Office of Energy and Environmental Affairs Document)
The physical distancing session plans provided by our technical department allow cohorts/group sizes of 12 or less (including players and coaches) to maintain physical distancing of 6 ft. or more at all times. Please scroll down to view session plans for U6, U8, U10, U12 and U13 and older players.
Per the Commonwealth of Massachusetts reopening guidelines (Order 35 and supporting documentation) it is allowable for multiple groups of 12 or less including players and coaches to be on a single playing surface with the required minimum of 20 ft. between fields.
The diagram below is an example of how 4 cohorts of 12 or less (players/coaches) can utilize a regulation sized 11v11 soccer field. Massachusetts Youth Soccer requires that individual waiting/equipment areas are provided for each player and coach. These areas should allow for a minimum of 6ft between each zone to allow for social distancing when the player or coach is not participating in soccer activities.
Please note, all Massachusetts Youth Soccer session plans are provided in good faith and must not be utilized for assignments for US Soccer or United Soccer Coaches education courses. We welcome coaches and organizations to share, use and build upon all Mass Youth Soccer Session plans as long as appropriate credit is given.
