Spring Schedule (GK's)
Thank you for your continued commitment and participation to our Olympic Development Program. Due to the many new COVID-19 guidelines, capacity limitations, etc., we have been compelled to make some changes to our Indoor Training Schedule and staffing. To ensure the best possible experience for our players and families our goal is to continue to provide indoor training for the 12U, 13U, 14U teams and GK’s. Each age group will have 5 indoor training sessions at Forekicks in Marlborough. These sessions will take place on Sunday’s between 12-4pm through the months of January through March. For 2021 there will not be any Indoor Trainings scheduled for the 15U and 16/17U teams. The 15U’s and 16/7 U’s will begin in mid March 2021 once we start outdoor sessions.
Coaching Staff for the winter training will be delivered by Mass Youth Soccer State Technical Staff. This includes Mass Youth Soccer Technical Director, Ian Mulliner and Assistant Technical Directors, Tommy Geis. Director of Marketing and Communications, Rob Holliday, and Director of Programs and Events, Lynn Gugliuzza, will also be on the coaching staff.
The coaching staff all hold an A license from the United States Soccer Federation and decades of coaching experience.
The goalkeeping staff will continue to deliver their “Best in Class” GK training sessions.
For the spring season, the plan is to continue with outdoor training sessions at our facility in Lancaster. These sessions will take place on Monday night’s from 5:30-7:30pm. We are hoping to have two weekends of matches against other state associations, one taking place in MA, one taking place in NJ / DE. Lastly, an Identification camp for the East Region State Associations to take place in NJ in July 2021.
Due to the unknown future we all face and the times we are currently living in, this is the plan but as with every plan during this pandemic we must be flexible and be able to adapt to new challenges that arise.
Players will be required to purchase a kit (New Balance: Red Jersey, White Jersey, Black Shorts, White Socks) from soccer.com. Goalkeepers will be required to purchase a kit (New Balance: GK Jersey, Black Shorts, White Socks) from soccer.com.
