REQUIREMENTS FOR REGISTRATION SUBMISSIONS

1. Player Registration Data Submitted to Mass Youth Soccer

Every player registered (regardless of play level) with an affiliated organization of Mass Youth Soccer must have player data submitted to the association and fee paid once per playing year (September 1 - August 31).

Sports Connect Club Users:

Member organizations who properly integrate their Sports Connect system with the association level do not need to upload a spreadsheet. Your data flows up automatically.

Non-Sports Connect Club users/non-integrated Sports Connect Club Users:

Member organizations who use a different registration platform (ex: Sports Engine, GotSport) need to upload their player data into Sports Connect.

Player Registration Upload Template: you must use this template to ensure a successful upload into Sports Connect.
Play Level Codes: you will need this to complete your spreadsheet.
Preparing & Uploading Your Player File: the formatting of the spreadsheet is very specific. Review this document for instructions & troubleshooting tips.

REMEMBER:

You are responsible for ensuring that Mass Youth Soccer receives all player registration data.
Do NOT include adult participants in this template. Adult participants register through a separate process (click here to view adult registration webpage).
Do NOT include out of state players in this upload or on fee submission form. All out of state players must register with their home state. Click here for next steps and contact information for surrounding states.

2. Fee Submission Form

You must email the completed Fee Submission Form to Rachel Woo (rwoo@mayouthsoccer.org). For each submission (initial, final, and any other submissions), you will complete and send a new form.

Please use the following format for your subject line: Member Organization Name Season Fee Submission Form (ex: Charlton Youth Soccer, Spring 2024 Fee Submission Form).

The Fee Submission Form (click here to download) includes a certification by the registrar that the facts and figures contained in the registration database being submitted are true and accurate, and that ALL participants (players AND adults) involved in the organization are being properly registered. This includes: recreational, club, and travel teams.

Per player fee = $22
Per adult fee = $22

3. Payment

Payment is due with initial and final submission for each season. It can be paid by check or online:

Checks payable to Massachusetts Youth Soccer should be sent to: Mass Youth Soccer c/o Rachel Woo, 512 Old Union Turnpike, Lancaster, MA 01523.
Online payments via credit card can be made by completing the Team Registration and Payment Form.

NEW REGISTRARS:

If you are new to the registrar role you will need administrative access to Sports Connect. You must complete the annual adult registration and have an approved background check. All risk management requirements must be completed to be in full compliance. Click here for adult registration webpage.

Your organization must also submit an updated Annual Leadership Report for your organization listing you in this role. User permissions in Sports Connect and all Mass Youth Soccer communications are based on the contact information in this report.
