This toolkit is a collection of documents, articles and information designed to provide individual programs with the resources necessary for building and managing a soccer program in the Commonwealth of Massachusetts. To assist both our current and future member organizations we have created this resource, The Member Toolkit. We invite you to implement any of the information contained here if they are missing or could be improved upon in the structure of your organization.
We recognize that our member organizations need to manage a wide range of functions and without good programs many players and coaches may leave or perhaps never consider even playing the sport. Our member organizations have a tremendous responsibility to create the best possible environment for their players, parents, officials and coaches. Some of these tasks may include handling money, hiring or firing personnel, understanding how to file taxes, and ensuring that practices and games are carried out with safe fields and appropriately registered players and coaches. We realize that this can be an overwhelming endeavor and have put together this information to assist you with your operations.
Below you will find a links to several websites, and documents that will aid with your organizations administration. Utilizing these tools will help you meet the challenges of starting and/or operation your soccer organization in Massachusetts.
