The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Tab will move on to the next part of the site rather than go through menu items.

John Burrill


John served the game in many ways as a parent, a coach, a club founder, a board member, a State Cup Director, and as an Executive Director for Mass Youth Soccer. John’s focus was always to fight for every child’s right to enjoy our great game. He began coaching when his daughter started playing soccer. His strong competitive spirit helped him to found the FC Greater Boston Bolts Soccer Club where he would serve as a both a board member and coach. In 1994 he would help lead a team to the US Youth Soccer National Championship, which at the time was a first for a Massachusetts Youth Soccer team. He then joined the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Board of Directors, and served as the State Cup Director for four years. In 2003, John became the 2nd Executive Director of Massachusetts Youth Soccer. As Executive Director, John spent countless hours perusing the dream of developing the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Fields at Progin Park. John was a key leader in creating the Attitudes are Contagious videos. He encouraged the growth of inner-city programs, led seminars national workshops, and generously served as a free consultant for anyone who called asking for guidance.
