The site navigation utilizes arrow, enter, escape, and space bar key commands. Left and right arrows move across top level links and expand / close menus in sub levels. Up and Down arrows will open main level menus and toggle through sub tier links. Enter and space open menus and escape closes them as well. Inducted into the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Hall of Fame in 2003, Dean Conway is best known for his extensive knowledge of the game of soccer. He always explained that he loved talking and being around people, especially in the soccer community. Dean was an innovator in the soccer world and many say he was ahead of his time. Conway served as the Director of Coaching for Mass Youth Soccer beginning in 1992, initially a part time position, he became the first full time Director of Coaching in 1997 and held the position until 2002. In addition to being a highly regarded Coach Education Instructor, Conway incorporated a full-time staff and was instrumental in the creation of the Coach Education Directors Program. Conway is credited with giving Massachusetts a “five year head start with anything that had to do with coaching.” A humble servant of the game, Conway has dedicated 3 decades to youth athletes in Massachusetts and continues to stay connected to the game through Jamaica Plains Youth Soccer.
