CAMP PROGRAMS
Mass Youth Soccer is the only official representative of US Soccer in Massachusetts. We exist solely to promote and enhance the game of soccer for every child in the state and to encourage the healthy development of those players both on and off the field. Simply put, your kids are our business....
Under the direction of Tom Goodman, Technical Director for Mass Youth Soccer, we operate a wide variety of popular camps and clinics. As the former US Youth Soccer National Director of Coaching, the holder of a USSF A-License and a current and long-time Staff Instructor for the USSF National Coaching Schools, no one brings more knowledg, experience or commitment to the development of young players than does Tom.
The camp and clinic possibilities for soccer organizations, clubs, recreation departments and schools are endless because, in addition to the numerous events we run on a regular basis, Mass Youth will tailor a camp or clinic program specifically to your needs. As the sole US Youth Soccer licensing body in the state, Mass Youth never ignores the importance of coaching education and utilizes its year round camps and clinics to help develop and teach youth coaches as well.
ANNOUNCEMENT
For the first time, Mass Youth Soccer will run an ODP Training Academy during July 2011. The Academy will be an intense and fun soccer clinic designed for the elite player born in 1999 and 2000. It is designed to bring the same intense, competitive and rewarding environment to U11 and U12 players that the Olympic Development Program in Massachusetts, Region 1 and across the nation provides. CAMPS
Mass Youth Offers the following summer camp programs. At each Camp the instructors will be some of the finest soccer coaches in the Northeast. They will include Technical Director Tom Goodman and his full-time staff of State Coaches, Mass Youth Instructional Coaches and ODP Coaches, and various college and professional coaches from the area.
Residential Camp. The Mass Youth Residential camp this year will be held at the Governors Academy in Byfield, MA. It will be a week of fun and demanding soccer training and matches. Individuals and teams are invited as well as high school soccer programs. The Residential Camp is a tremendous opportunity for players to learn and grow and for teams to bond and prepare for the upcoming season.
