Mass Youth Student-Athlete Scholarship

Massachusetts Youth Soccer Student-Athlete Scholarship

 Mass Youth Soccer has established a new scholarship for high school seniors who are planning to attend a post-secondary educational institution.  The scholarship will be awarded to one male and one female high school senior.  To be eligible for this scholarship the student athlete must have been associated with Mass Youth Soccer for at least the past two years.  Once the Mass Youth Soccer office receives all applications by the March 31^st deadline, they shall select the best-qualified applicant based upon the required written application and the 500 word essay. The amount of the scholarships is currently indefinite as it will depend on fundraising efforts; however the goal is to have each scholarship amount to $1,000. 

Criteria:

·        Accurately completed application form, and 500 word essay (submitted by March 31^st)

·        Applicant must be a registered player with Mass Youth Soccer for at least the past two years

·        Applicant must be a high school senior who will be attending a post-secondary school

Looking back at your soccer career thus far, what have you learned that you will be able to apply to your feature endeavors? (I.e. socially, academically, etc)
