Contact regulations:

* the recruiting cycle is typically from the winter of your junior year (Nov) to the winter of your senior year (Feb)
* coaches can only make phone calls to you after July 1 after your junior year (Div. I) or June 15 after your junior year (Div. II)
** be aware that if you call a coach before this, he/she is not allowed to call you or your parents back
* you may receive printed materials before these dates

Questions to ask yourself:
--size of school?                        --location?                     --do they have my major?
--financial aid?              --academic reputation?            --housing?          
--coach's philosophy?                 --make-up of team(personalities)?   --will I ever play?      
--necessary time commitment to play?    --graduation rate of players?
--team GPA?               --student advising?

How to answer these questions:
1)      Do your research on the web and you can find most information about the school
2)      Ask the coach for his/her philosophy, how you fit in their plans
3)      Ask the current team about the coach, there is no better way to get the truth
4)      Take an admissions tour of schools you may be interested in and take official or unofficial visits to the ones you are serous about
