ELECTRONIC FILE SPECS:
We are both PC and Mac compatible. Discs should be either 100MB ZIP discs, floppy discs, or CD ROM. Please make sure your files are compatible with the software listed below. Electronic photos should be sent in either “ .tif ” or “ .jpg ” format, and be at a resolution of no less than 180 dpi with the image being at 100% . We will not be held responsible for the image quality if it does not meet these specifications. You must provide an accurate proof with the file, as well as all fonts and placed images.
Software used in the production of The Bay Stater :
- Quark XPress 4.0
- Adobe Illustrator CS
- Adobe Photoshop CS
If you are providing us with a PDF file of your ad, please be sure all the images are linked correctly and that all your fonts are embedded. If your ad is in full color, and you are submitting a pdf file, all images MUST be in CMYK color mode ! Please double check that it has been proofed before saving and sending the file. We cannot edit PDF files. What you send in is what will print.
You must provide an accurate printed proof with all digital files!
