MASSACHUSETTS YOUTH SOCCER
OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

Massachusetts Youth Soccer's Oympic Development Program is the only youth soccer program in Massachusetts entirely focused on the development of individual players. ODP does not focus on team success, scores, standings, promotion or relegation. ODP is designed solely to insure each young athlete has an environment in which he or she can focus on their personal development as a soccer player. With some of the finest coaches in New England, training facilities second to none and an uncompromised devotion to each player's future in the soccer, Massachusetts Youth Soccer's Olympic Development Program stands alone as the best environment for youth players to learn and grow in the game.

OLYMPIC DEVELOPMENT PROGRAM

2013 MASTER TRAINING AND EVENT SCHEDULE

The Massachusetts Youth Soccer Olympic Development Program is one of the most comprehensive and extensive programs of its type in the country. For younger players, Massachusetts ODP is essentially an 11-month program. Below are the links to the schedules for each age group.

UNDER 12 ODP TRAINING PROGRAM
The U12 Training Program is one of the first of its kind in the country. The "season" will consist of 10 training sessions in the spring. There will be no fall training and no indoor training over the winter. Training will be at the Citizens Bank Fields at Progin Park, Massachusetts Youth Soccer's state-of-the-art training facility in Lancaster, MA, on Monday evenings.  The ODP U12 Training Program promises to be an excellent introduction for parents and players to the Olympic Development Program, its philosophy and the endless opportunities it provides.

UNDER 13 and UNDER 14 PROGRAMS
The Under 13 and Under 14 Teams will train 8 times in the fall at the Massachusetts Youth Soccer complex in Lancaster, MA. They will then train indoors at the Forekicks indoor facility in Marlborough, MA 5 times on alternating weekends. Finally, they will train 9 times during the spring at the Massachusetts Youth Soccer complex. The pools will be divided into 2 teams for purposes of playing at the Region 1 Tournament in New Jersey. They will have 2-3 more training sessions and then attend Region 1 Camp during the month of July.

UNDER 15, 16 and 17 PROGRAMS
Because most players in these age groups are involved in their respective high school programs, they will not train in the fall. They will, however, as will the Under 13s and 14s, train indoors at the Forekicks indoor facility in Marlboro on alternating weekends during the winter. In these older age groups, Mass ODP will maintain a player pool of approximately 20 - 30 players, but will send only 1 team of 18 players (restricted by Region 1) to the Region 1 Tournament in New Jersey in early June.
