I have been involved with Massachusetts Youth Soccer's Olympic Development Program for 15 years. I continued to be amazed at the quality of our coaches and the incredible impact ODP has on each individual player. We don't focus on team, we don't have any scores or standings and our teams can't get promoted or relegated. All we care about is the development of each individual player.....
ODP provides a highly competitive environment in which each player can realize his or her full potential as a player and as a young person...

The Massachusetts Youth Soccer ODP U12 Training Program is the ONLY program in the state dedicated entirely to individual development and not to team success. The Program is designed to be a developmental program in the truest sense of the words. Players in their formative years will be allowed to grow and develop in the game in an environment that is in no way linked to "winning at all costs". The development of players is the only concern and the only focus of the program. While the Program will be highly competitive, the competition will be used to encourage growth and excellence not to measure or define a player's success. Tryouts for the ODP U12 Training Program will be conducted in August of each year and each ODP year will consist of 3 training sessions in the fall and 3 training sessions in the winter and 10 training sessions in the spring. Outdoor training will be at the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Fields at Progin Park in Lancaster, MA.
