Tara has been with Massachusetts Youth Soccer since 2001. She received both her Bachelor’s Degree and her Master’s Degree in Business Administration from Fitchburg State University. Tara holds a Massachusetts Youth Soccer F Coaching License. Tara, formerly Coach Education Manager and State Cup Registrar, was promoted to the position of Director of Finance in March 2014. Tara maintains the financial accounting records, performs all billing and can answer your questions in regards to accounts receivable and accounts payable. Tara also maintains the excess health insurance claims records and would be able to help members when filing a claim. In addition, last November Tara was named the Director of Human Resources and oversees all functions of this department for Mass Youth Soccer.
Maureen LaRoche - TSL Program Manager
Maureen is the Town Select League Manager and ODP Administrator or the Massachusetts Youth Soccer headquarters in Lancaster, MA. She is no stranger to Massachusetts Youth Soccer as she served as a Team Administrator for the Olympic Development Program from 2004-2008. Maureen graduated from the University of North Carolina with a degree in Communications and was an NCAA athlete in Women’s Tennis. Maureen also assists in the day to day management of the State Office. She holds a US Soccer Grassroots 4 v 4, 7 v 7, 9 v 9 and 11 v 11 coaching license.
Lori Jimenez - Fields and Hotels Coordinator
Lori Jimenez is the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Fields and Hotels Coordinator. She is responsible for scheduling at the Fields at Progin Park in Lancaster, MA for tournaments, games and practices, and is also the hotel coordinator for all tournaments held at the complex. Lori comes to us from Concord-Carlisle Youth Soccer where she served as the Travel Program Registrar for three years.
Richard “Dick” Threadgould - Facilities Manager

Dick has a 50-year employment history. At Norton Company during the 60's, Dick worked as a tile cutter in the Armored Products Division and then as a Research and Development Lab Assistant. The 70's found him at the Colonial Press in Clinton, MA, where he worked as the scheduler for the paperback bindery and rotary pressroom. Dick has been with Massachusetts Youth Soccer since April 2008, and as the Facilities Manager supervises all of the facilities staff and daily field operations.
Brian Falvey - Assistant Facilities Manager
Brian has been with Massachusetts Youth Soccer since 2010. As a high school student for his first two years at MYSA Brian worked as a weekend parking crew member and soon after graduating from Nashoba Regional in 2012 he joined the Facility Maintenance crew. Brian is now responsible for maintaining the MYSA facility grounds, field lining and set up, and managing the Facility Maintenance crew. After receiving an Associate’s Degree from Middlesex Community College, Brian is now attending Fitchburg State University to finish his Bachelor’s Degree in Business Administration. Brian also has been coaching club, high school, and youth lacrosse in the greater Boston area since 2013.
Rachel Woo - Registration
Rachel has been on staff at Massachusetts Youth Soccer for more than 10 years. She grew up in Lowell, MA and was instrumental in starting the Varsity Soccer Program at Lowell High School. She also played soccer throughout her college career. Her primary responsibility is the administration of all registrations in the state. Club and town program registrars are asked to work closely with Rachel to make certain player, coach and administrator registration is completed accurately and in a timely manner. Rachel also administers Certificates of Insurance for every field facility in the state.
Terri Filippetti - Director of State Cup, Presidents Cup and Open Cup
For over 25 years Terri served in a variety of administrative capacities in multiple youth soccer organizations. She joined the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Board of Directors in 2003 where she held numerous Board positions including Director of National Championship Series and where she served as Executive Vice President and a member of the Executive Board. As her own children grew up in the game, Terri began assuming various roles with Shrewsbury Youth Soccer. She served as Director, Treasurer, Vice President and President and was the manager for various club, District Select and ODP teams. The role of managing the State Cup and the Presidents’ Cup was made a staff position in 2013 and Terri was appointed. Since the inception of the Open Cup, Terri has taken on the role of the Open Cup Director as well.
Rob Holliday - Director of Communications and Marketing
Rob is in charge of communications and marketing for Mass Youth Soccer. He manages the website, coordinates e-mail newsletter, communicates with the membership, and works with our corporate partners. Rob has a bachelor's degree from the University of Southampton, and previously held the role of Technical Director at Wilmington Youth Soccer. In addition to being responsible for Marketing and Communications, Rob is on the Mass Youth Soccer Coach Education Staff for US Soccer and NSCAA courses and Head Coach for the 2007 Boys Olympic Development Program. Rob holds the US Soccer National A License and US Youth Soccer National Youth License.
Lynn Gugliuzza - Director of Programming and Events
Lynn is in charge of Elite Player Programs (Olympic Development Program and District Select) and manages major events for Mass Youth Soccer. Lynn is a graduate of the University of New Hampshire where she played as a Goal Keeper. Lynn holds a USSF A License and NSCAA State and Regional Goalkeeping Diplomas. In addition to being responsible for Elite Player Programming and Events Co-ordination, Lynn is an Assistant Technical Director on the Massachusetts Youth Soccer Technical Staff.
Mary Relic - CORI/Risk Administrator
Mary recently joined Massachusetts Youth Soccer Association as CORI/Risk Administrator. She is originally from Illinois, and moved to Massachusetts in 2012. Her responsibilities at Massachusetts Youth Soccer are processing all CORI requests for our affiliated members, and working with individuals through the CORI clarification and/or appeals process. She also handles International Player Clearance requests, administrative duties with the District Select Program, and the Adult Registration process. Mary previously worked for the town of Harvard, MA, at the Harvard Town Hall as the Receptionist/Finance Department Assistant and Assistant Town Clerk.
Tamie Endow - Technical Department Manager
Prior to joining the Massachusetts Youth Soccer staff in January 2012 as the Director of Member Services, Tamie worked for Staples, Inc. and in the construction industry in management positions. She received her Bachelor’s Degree in Management from Syracuse University. She has served as a Team Manager for F.C. United and a Team Administrator for the Olympic Development Program. Her primary responsibilities are coordinating license courses, coach/player development programs, tryout evaluations, technical development centers and and summer training centers.
Jake Davis - Office Manager
Jake Davis is the office manager, program support & Tournament Hosting Administrator for Massachusetts Youth Soccer. Jake graduated from King University (TN) with a bachelors in business, specializing in sports management. He is continuing his education, currently pursuing an MBA from Southern CT State University. In addition to his position at Massachusetts Youth Soccer, Jake serves as the assistant men’s soccer coach at Assumption College in Worcester MA. Jake Joins Massachusetts youth soccer after serving as an intern for 3 summers, working with various departments. Jake played for the Boston Bolts academy and then continued to play soccer in college. He currently holds a USSF E License and the United Soccer Coaches Goalkeeping level 1 license.
Tommy Geis joined us in 2010 after spending twenty years as an Assistant Director of Coaching in Western PA and four years, as a Director of Coaching for an Anchorage, AK club. He holds his USSF A License and National Youth License. Tommy earned his Bachelor's Degree in Business Communications in 1992 from La Roche College in Pittsburgh. He has worked as a coach in both the Alaska and PA West Olympic Development Programs and has worked as an ODP Staff Coach at the regional level in both Region II and IV. In 2012-13, Tommy is the Head Coach of the Massachusetts Youth Soccer ODP Under 13 (2006) Boys teams.
Loy Urbina - Assistant Technical Director
Loy Urbina has had a rich experience as a youth soccer Coach and Coaching Instructor. A member of the New Jersey Youth Soccer Association for many years, Loy was an important part of the instructional staff and the ODP staff. His club coaching experience in New Jersey was with Match Fit FC and Pittsgrove Premier Futbol. Loy is a Region I ODP Staff coach. He holds the USSF “A” License, the USSF National Youth License, the NSCAA Advanced National Diploma, the NSCAA Goalkeeper Level 1 Diploma and the KNVB (Royal Netherlands Football Association) International Diploma. As a Foreign Language teacher in New Jersey for 20 years, he coached Girls and Boys High School Varsity soccer. Loy has a Master of Education Degree in Athletic Counseling from Springfield CollegeHe will be the Head Coach of the U13 (2006) Girls Massachusetts Youth Soccer ODP teams this year.
