Director of Soccer Development Program
In April 2017, Mass Youth Soccer launched the Director of Soccer Development (DSD) Program. The DSD role was created to strengthen the link between Massachusetts Youth Soccer and you our member organizations. By developing a collaborative relationship between Mass Youth Soccer’s Technical Department and your Director of Soccer Development we hope to establish an inclusive environment that meets the needs of each of our member organizations.
To date, we have 80 DSD's who have participated in 2 live, in-person events and 2 webinars. Our goal is to have all Mass Youth Soccer affiliated member organizations identify a Director of Soccer Development by September 30th, 2017.
All Mass Youth Soccer affiliated organizations are required to name a Director of Soccer Development, the Director of Soccer Development will be a required position on Leadership Reports as of January 1st 2018.
All programs with a registered Director of Soccer Development by September 30th, 2017 will receive a free registration for their DSD to attend a US Soccer Grassroots Education Course in 2018.
