PUMA HOSTS FIELD DAY FRENZY 2011
On August 10th, Puma North America hosted its annual Kids Day at the Mass Youth Soccer complex in Lancaster. “Field Day Frenzy 2011” saw more than 120 kids from Brockton come to the complex for a day of games and activities. Puma staff and volunteers as well as the staff from the Boys and Girls Club of Brockton joined in the fun as team of kids and counselors competed in soccer, kick ball, dodge ball and other activities. In addition, the kids decorated picture frames at an arts & crafts station and cooled off in the Puma “Misting Tent”. Raffles, awards and give-aways capped off the day. Thanks to Puma and the Boys and Girls Club for their commitment to our kids. Mass Youth hopes you and your kids will return next year!
CITIZENS BANK HONORS SPORTSMANSHIP AT MTOC
The 2011 Mass Tournament of Champions was held June 24th - 26th at the Citizens Bank Fields at Progin Park, in Lancaster, MA. Mass Youth Soccer partner, Citizens Bank, sponsored the Good Citizenship Sportsman’s Award, given to one team in each gender that displayed the highest overall sportsmanship during the tournament. Members of each of the selected teams received a $100 savings bond, a training soccer ball and a Citizens Bank soccer bag.
The Boys Under 14 Division 1 team from Worcester won the overall sportsmanship award on the boys' side and the Girls Under 12 Division 1 team from Leominster won the honor on the girls' side.

Dick's Sporting Goods will return in 2012 as the Official Sporting Goods Retail Store of Mass Youth Soccer. Dick's is once again planning its "Mass Youth Soccer Appreciation Weeks" for March 2012 and August 2012. Since becoming a Mass Youth corporate partner in March 2011, Dick's Sporting Goods has run two weeks of discounts and a 14-month Soccer Special Offer promtion for Mass Youth Soccer members.
