MASS YOUTH SOCCER INSURANCE POLICIES AND INDOOR SOCCER
LIMITS OF COVERAGE
Mass Youth Soccer insurance coverage applies ONLY to Mass Youth Soccer related and/or sanctioned events and DOES NOT apply to non-soccer events or events that are not specifically sanctioned by Mass Youth Soccer.

Training Indoors. If your team is going to be training indoors during the late fall/winter months you MUST affiliate all your players, coaches and administrators in order for the Mass Youth Soccer insurance protections to apply. These protections will apply regardless of the facility in which you train.

League Play Indoors. If your team is playing in a league organized and run by an indoor facility there is NO insurance protection through Mass Youth Soccer insurance policies.

Tournament Play Indoors. If an indoor facility runs a tournament and wants protection under Mass Youth Soccer insurance policies, the tournament MUST be sanctioned by Mass Youth Soccer. If the tournament is sanctioned, Mass Youth Soccer insurance protection would apply for that event and that event ONLY. In order for an event at an indoor facility to be sanctioned by Mass Youth Soccer, all players, coaches and administrators on ALL teams MUST be duly affiliated and the indoor facility must complete the necessary application.

Additional / Independent Insurance Coverage. Each team, club and facility is encouraged and is free to obtain insurance coverage in some form for soccer events that are not sanctioned by Mass Youth Soccer. Mass Youth Soccer’s insurance company will extend such insurance coverage at a discounted rate. This discounted rate is only available to those individuals, teams and organizations affiliated with Mass Youth Soccer. Any such insurance coverage is, in every respect, INDEPENDENT of Mass Youth Soccer and NO inference that Mass Youth Soccer is assuming any role, responsibility or obligation to provide insurance coverage for non-sanctioned soccer events should be at no time drawn.
